Your typical baseball crowd a hundred years ago. This one specifically is Vancouver vs. Victoria on opening day in the Northwestern League, 1915, in an astonishing panorama photograph by W. J. Moore.

(Thanks to Mark Perkins for sending me this and other great photos of 1910s Vancouver baseball.)

The whole photograph is available at the City of Vancouver Archives’ flickr page - it’s well worth blowing up and looking at in detail. (There are at least a couple of women in the stands—also wearing hats, of course.)
