Again from Kevin Johnson, a Sanborn map of the Detroit Stars’ Mack Park in 1929. Lefthanded power hitters such as Turkey Stearnes and Edgar Wesley flourished in Detroit in the 1920s, and it’s easy to see why, with the cosy dimensions in right field.
